What does redeeming actually do?
It adds the gifted square metres to your My Square Metre account. From then on, those metres are part of your live impact dashboard, get planted in real UK wildflower meadow on protected land at the next planting window, and show up on any shareable plaque or asset you generate.
Do I need an account?
Yes - a free account is how we keep your impact safe and show it back to you. It takes about 30 seconds to create one if you do not already have one.
Does it cost anything?
No. The gift covers everything - planting, the dashboard, your share of the meadow. There is nothing else to pay.
When does the planting happen?
UK wildflower seed gets sown in the right window for the species mix and the site - usually late summer through to early autumn, with a top-up in spring. Your dashboard tracks when your portion goes in.
